Middle School Open House: Why Middle School Matters #2 (Virtual)
Why Middle School Matters is the first event in our three-part Middle School admissions series, hosted by the Head of School, the Middle School Principal, and the Senior Director of Admissions.
This program introduces prospective families to the philosophy that shapes the Dwight-Englewood Middle School experience. Through a discussion of adolescent development, the differences between a true Middle School and a traditional Junior High model, and the academic and social foundations that prepare students for Upper School, families gain insight into how D-E supports students during these formative years.
More than an introduction to our Middle School, Why Middle School Matters offers families a deeper understanding of our educational philosophy and answers a broader question: Why Dwight-Englewood School?
